November 17 eNews

Dear friends and neighbours,

Have your say on the City's 2022 rate-supported budgets
Each year, City staff put forward a preliminary budget, and then the Mayor and City Council—with input from Toronto residents and businesses—make decisions about the City’s services, programs, and infrastructure.

If you are interested in providing input, please:

  • Request to speak at Budget Committee on Friday, November 19;

  • Submit comments to the Committee by emailing buc@toronto.ca; or

  • Mail comments to Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W., 10th floor, West Tower, Toronto, ON M5H 2N2.

Please note, that if you wish to speak at committee, you must register by Thursday, November 18 at 4:30 pm. For those interested in watching live, the meeting will be streamed on YouTube.

Scam Call Warning
Some residents have received fraudulent phone calls from someone claiming to work for Ontario Flood Prevention. The individual claims they will need to do a flood prevention inspection in the residents' home and they ask to confirm if anyone will be home. Please be wary of these calls. If you are unsure whether someone is actually a municipal or provincial employee, please contact our office.

Sincerely,
Frances

Sincerely,
Frances
